Data Protection Conditions in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC), the service provider collects and processes the personal data of users in a lawful, fair and transparent manner, and only those data that are necessary for the performance of the service agreed between the Service Provider and the User.

Privacy Policy
Dental practice Milana Lukić, dr. med dent., Črnikovica 11, 51410 Opatija, Croatia, OIB: 25729764404 (hereinafter: Dental-point) respects your privacy and the security of your personal data. The collection, use and processing of your personal data is carried out in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the provisions of the Private Data Protection Act (OG 103/03, 118/06, 41/08, 130/11, 106/12), i.e. other applicable regulations applicable in the Republic of Croatia, which regulate the protection of personal data.
The privacy of our clients is extremely important to us and we do everything to preserve the confidentiality of their data. Please check the personal data protection policy periodically for possible changes.
User consent and withdrawal
Dental-point collects personal data of users that they voluntarily provide. It is considered that by accepting the Terms of Use of Dental-point, an integral part of which is this Privacy and Data Protection Policy, the user as his consent and expressly manifested his will by which they express their consent to the processing of his personal data for the purpose of using the services offered by Dental-point. The user can withdraw his consent at any time by written notice.
Data controller
Dental-point is the controller of your personal data. The privacy policy applies to all personal data of users that we collect and process, directly or through our partners. Personal data is any data relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, directly or indirectly. Data processing is any action performed on personal data, such as the collection, storage, use, consultation and transfer of personal data. This Policy does not apply to anonymous data. Anonymous data is data that cannot be linked to a specific natural person.
What kind of data is collected?
Dental-point collects all personal data that accumulates when users use the services offered by Dental-point (websites) and communicate with Dental-point through any means of communication. Only those personal data that are essential for achieving the purpose for which users use the services offered are collected and their scope will not exceed what is necessary to achieve such a purpose. This includes: Information entered by users through the online form or otherwise entered by them while using Dental-point services (for example, by phone or e-mail) including personal data (name, address, telephone number, date of birth, gender, means of payment, etc.), user data that is sent or automatically generated (for example, the date and time of use of the service, current and previously used site, IP address, data relating to the browser used, device code, current location, if such information is provided, etc.), as well as interaction data if they are available without the installation of additional programs on the computer (for example, mouse movements and clicks or by pressing the keys of the keyboard on the website), personal data generated by Dental point or third parties (e.g. codes), correspondence and other communication with users (for example, e-mail, telephone conversations).
Purpose of data processing
Dental-point may use user data collected or collected for the following purposes:
- Providing services offered by Dental-point,
- Preparation of various types of statistics relating to, for example, the amount of interest shown by users in the product and comparison of services or for other services offered by Dental-point,
- Internal training and quality control,
- Maintaining and developing relationships with customers,
- Guarantees of security and availability of dental-point system and data and its service providers,
- Corporate transactions carried out by Dental-point, which may have an impact on user data,
- Prevention, detection and prevention of any misuse,
- Responding to justified official inquiries or inquiries regarding the evidence of lawsuits or other legal disputes concerning Dental-point or in which Dental-point participates.
Further purposes may arise from given circumstances or legal obligations, or may be necessary as part of the collection of appropriate data.
Electronic flyers, commercial communication
In connection with the services offered by Dental-point, it may periodically send electronic leaflets or other content (commercial in nature) to the address or number of any user who has registered his e-mail address or any other electronic address or mobile phone number at Dental-point. By registering, users give their consent to receive such electronic leaflets and content. However, they can notify Dental-point at any time and without charge that they do not wish to receive any more or be notified of the above.
Is any data passed on to third parties?
In addition to the exceptions listed below, Dental-point does not in principle forward any personal data to third parties:
Dental-point may invite third parties to process personal data on behalf of and solely for the purpose of dental-point business (e.g. external associates essential in oral health care procedures). Dental-point will apply appropriate measures to ensure that such a third party processes data exclusively in the manner in which Dental-point is authorized to process them; Dental-point may transfer personal data to third parties because it is necessary in order to provide the service requested from the user. In exceptional cases (e.g. misuse), user data may also be disclosed to third parties for other purposes specified in this data privacy policy or for the purposes provided for by law. Dental-point cannot control, guarantee or guarantee that third parties comply with the data protection rules applicable to Dental-point.eu; they process data for their own purposes, possibly also abroad where different regulations apply. Dental-point may transfer personal data to third parties if so provided for by law.
Furthermore, Dental-point may disclose anonymous user data to third parties. Such data have a form that does not allow third parties to know the identity of the users concerned or is unlikely to do so.
All Dental-point employees and business partners are responsible for respecting the principles of privacy protection through contractual relationships with Dental-point.
Where and how is the data stored?
In the context of storing or processing user data in another way, Dental-point will apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized or otherwise non-guaranteed processing. Such measures shall be subject to regular scrutiny and shall be amended if necessary. This also applies to third parties in charge of running the system.
Personal data are kept in a form that allows identification of users and for no longer than is necessary for the purpose for which the data are collected or further processed.
We use a variety of security measures, including encryption and authentication, to protect and maintain the security, integrity and availability of your data. Among other things, we use the following measures:
- strictly limited personal access to your data on the basis of “necessary knowledge” and solely for the purposes of which you have been informed,
- secure transfer of collected data,
- permanent monitoring of access to IT systems in order to detect and prevent misuse of personal data.
How long do we keep your data?
We store and process personal data only for as long as necessary for the execution of a specific legitimate purpose, unless the applicable regulations provide for a specific purpose for a longer retention period. In the case of giving consent for marketing, we keep the data for as long as the consent is not withdrawn. In the case of rejected offers, where marketing consent has not been given, we keep the data related to the offer for a year, and in case you ask us to delete it, it will be immediately deleted.
Personal data that is no longer needed is either irreversibly anonymised or destroyed in a secure manner.
Questions and suggestions, requests for information, corrections or deletions
The user has the right at any time to withdraw from the consent given for the processing of personal data and request the termination of further processing of his data. The user also has the right to request rectification or modification of the personal data he has provided for processing. Withdrawal of consent or request for correction or modification of personal data is delivered in writing by e-mail to privatnost@dental-point.eu or to the postal address: Črnikovica 11, 51410 Opatija, Croatia. The user has the right to expressly object to the processing of his personal data for marketing purposes and in this case the personal data relating to him will not be processed for this purpose. The user will submit opposition to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes in writing by e-mail to the info@dental-point.eu, or to the postal address, Črnikovica 11, 51410 Opatija, Croatia. All other questions, suggestions and comments regarding the processing of personal data are welcome.
